New York Monthly Food Inmate Package Program
PROGRAM INFORMATION - Ordering Limits and Restrictions
Incarcerated Individuals of New York Correctional Institutions: In Accordance with NYDOCCS Directive #4911, incarcerated individuals of NYDOCCS may receive three (3) packages a month containing Food. The combined weight of both packages may not exceed 40lbs. (640 oz.) monthly. Food packages received both from visitors and through the mail shall be included in the three package limit. There is a $20 product minimum per order, this minimum does not include shipping or sales tax. Any orders received under this $20 product minimum will be canceled and refunded to the customer. Certain items in this catalog may be restricted at your facility and not available for purchase. Please check with you package room for a complete list of approved items at your facility. Package privileges are subject to change without notice. Please ensure your loved one is eligible to receive a package prior to placing your order. Prices in this catalog are good for 6 months, February 1 – July 31, 2024. Please use the “Food Package Order Form” to place your order.

(2) If an item is unavailable for any reason, we will obtain approval by the customer to substitute with an item of equal or greater value. We regret any of these changes and make every effort to ship the proper product that you request.
FREE ITEMS are only available while the program or supplies last(s). The program may be discontinued without further or prior notice. If a selected Free item is out-of-stock or discontinued, the company will substitute the selected Free item with another item of comparable value, or cancel the Free item if no comparable substitute is available. Free items are only available at facilities where incarcerated adults are allowed to receive Free items.
PAYMENT METHOD: Union Supply Direct accepts the following forms of payment: credit card, personal check or money order (must be domestic, printed in the U.S.) or cash payment through ACE Cash Express. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the following logos: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact card holder name, billing address, CVV code and telephone number that your credit card issuer bank has on file for you. Your credit card will be billed upon placement of your order. The following forms of payments are not accepted: Green Dot, Cash App, Apple Pay.

SALES TAX: Sales Tax is applied to tangible personal property, candy, cosmetics and toiletries (Tax Code B – Taxable Items). All Clothing and Footwear (under $110) are eligible for a reduced sales tax (Tax Code C-Reduced Taxable Items). Food (except candy) is not taxable (Tax Code A – Non Taxable Items). Please see last page of catalog for applicable sales tax per facility. Sales Tax is subject to change without notice.
SHIPPING: All shipped orders will be charged $8.95 (Non-Refundable). Cancelled orders will not be charged.
RETURNS & REFUNDS: Union Supply Direct is not responsible for refused items. Please ensure that the items you ordered are approved at your facility. If an items is not allowed at your facility, please be aware that Union Supply Groups is not responsible for return shipping of these items. Used, abused or damaged items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Please check all of your items upon receipt. If any of these items are found to be defective or damaged in shipping please notify your Property Room Department officer to arrange a return or exchange. These goods will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. All merchandise that was ordered in error, for any reason, can be exchanged for $8.95. All exchanges or returns must be done within 30 days of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: All products must come back to us directly from the facility. If for any reason you decide to send the package to a friend or family member, instead of back to Union Supply, then that sale is final and no exchanges or refunds will be issued. For security purposes, we cannot accept any products or packages that have left the facility. All original boxes and packaging material are required on any returned goods.
Restocking Fee: If a package or item(s) is returned by you or your facility for any reason other than because the item(s) are damaged or the wrong item(s) were sent, a restocking fee of 10% will be deducted from your refund. Shipping Fees are non-refundable for refused packages.

New York Personal Property Inmate Package Program

Family, Friends and incarcerated individuals are responsible for ensuring the items they order are allowed at their facility and the incarcerated individuals does not exceed the allowable possession limits. No incarcerated individuals shall possess property (combined State and personal property), including legal material, in excess of that which can be placed in for (4) standard Departmental draft bags. Incarcerated individual’s packages must be a minimum of $20.00, this minimum does not include shipping or sales tax. Any orders received under this $20.00 product minimum will be canceled and refunded to the customer. Certain items in this catalog may be restricted at your facility and not available for purchase. Please check with your package room for a complete list of approved items at your facility. Package privileges are subject to change without notice. Please ensure your loved one is eligible to receive a package prior to placing your order. Prices in this catalog are good for 6 months, February 1 – July 31, 2024. Please use the “Property Package Order From” to place your order.
Limits: The below limitations are from Directive 4913, however, Superintendents at individual facilities may further limit the amount of incarcerated individual property, please check with your package room for a complete list of limitations:
